Need a local house clear-out of good, reusable items, help moving home, or someone with a van for a big bulky item? We move furniture, household appliances (empty, clean & dry), shop / store purchases, and garden or light equipment (fuel / oil may remain if securely contained & not leaking). Dry items only — no chemicals, no domestic waste, no hazardous materials.
We take an upcycling‑first approach: items in good condition are prioritised for resale or donation to local charities, and acceptable dry items that can't be reused are taken to licensed recycling centres — never dumped. Billing starts from when we leave our business premises to cover travel costs, and you pay for the time until we return — charged per person per hour, not arbitrary "per load" quotes. Give Us A Hand is an independent moving & collections service that works closely with BartsC Thriftshop. If we deem your items resellable, we'll donate them directly to BartsC so they can be sold to support their work. Billing starts from when we leave our business premises to cover travel time — typically €90 per hour for two people (at €45 per person, excluding VAT), instead of vague per‑load pricing. For urgent jobs use WhatsApp for the fastest response.
