Service Description

Give Us A Hand provides furniture moving, house clear-outs, appliance transport, and bulky item collection services. Our services are limited to the transport and relocation of dry, safe items only.

Item Restrictions

We move dry items only — no chemicals, no domestic waste, no hazardous materials.

Items we do NOT transport include:

• Chemicals, paints, solvents
• Loose fuel containers (spare petrol/diesel cans)
• Leaking batteries
• Domestic waste or rubbish bags
• Biohazards
• Perishable or frozen food contents
• Free liquids or items that could leak or spill
• Hazardous materials
• Pressurized cylinders

Appliances must be empty, clean, and dry. Fridges and freezers must be fully defrosted. Equipment with built-in fuel tanks (e.g., lawnmowers) may contain fuel/oil provided the item is clean, securely closed, upright, and not leaking.

Booking & Payment

Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We provide time-based pricing at €45 per person per hour. Billing starts from when we leave our business premises to cover travel costs, and you pay for the time until we return. Final charges will be calculated based on actual time spent, with no hidden fees.

Liability

While we take utmost care in handling your items, you acknowledge that moving and transport services carry inherent risks. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items not properly prepared according to our guidelines, or damage resulting from items not meeting our acceptable item criteria.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.
